Big Dog Day Out at Bewl Water returns!

Big Dog Day Out Bewl Water is back for 2023!

The countdown has officially commenced for Big Dog Day Out Bewl Water which will take place on Saturday 25th Saturday from 10am. The event in Lamberhurst, Kent promises visitors a day out for the whole family, including furry friends.

There will be plenty of things to see and do with your pooches at the 800-acre site, which is home to the largest stretch of open water in the South East.

There will be a children’s treasure trail, face painting, raffle, and a dog agility course that will run throughout the day.

The main event, the dog show will start at 11.00 am with different categories every hour.

What else is happening at Big Dog Day Out Bewl Water?

These include ‘Most Handsome Boy’, ‘Prettiest Girl’, ‘Best Biscuit Catcher’ ‘Best Rescue’ and ‘Dog the Judge Would Like to Bring Home’. Rosettes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place dogs in all categories.

The event is free to enjoy, though there’s a small £6 charge for all-day car parking and a £1 entry fee for the dog show.

While you’re there, you can enjoy a scenic walk, head to the adventure play area, and visit the shopping village where the stall holders will have all the products your dog could need.

Alongside the treats for your pets, there are plenty of treats for the rest of the family at the dog-friendly Waterfront Café which will be serving hot drinks and fresh pastries plus deli sandwiches, hot sausage rolls, and confectionery.
